“Painting with Fire” is a highly specialised technique of dancing a flame underneath paper to leave a layer of soot and then etching it away with various tools to leave an incredibly realistic image of the subject. The burnt paper reflects the impact that man has on nature and the consequent effect on wildlife.

Maegan graduated from Diamond Valley College in 2014 with three Portfolio subjects in year 12 and has since completed her Bachelor of Design Arts at LCI Melbourne ( previously Academy of Design Australia ). By combining her skills and passion for wildlife she has created a collection of artworks that raise awareness and provides a voice for endangered and protected species.

Her upcoming exhibition highlights her new collection of native Australian wildlife alongside her past exhibits with both Limited Edition Prints and Originals available for purchase.
